Cleaning Healthy Teeth
Regular cleanings help you keep a bright, healthy smile and prevent serious problems like gum disease, which can lead to bone and, eventually, tooth loss. Routine dental visits are necessary so plaque and calculus buildup (from minerals that occur naturally in saliva) can be professionally removed with ultrasonic tools and specialized instruments. We use the latest technology to make your visit as quick and enjoyable as possible.
Treating Periodontal (Gum) Disease
Gum disease can occur from neglect — failure to floss daily and not having your teeth cleaned on a regular basis. As plaque, calculus (or tartar) and bacteria accumulate under your gums, it can lead to inflamed gum tissue, deterioration of bone, and eventually tooth loss. Systemic diseases such as Diabetes, can also influence the progression of Periodontal disease.
Tooth-Colored Fillings and Crowns
We use the latest materials for fillings and crowns to ensure that when your teeth are repaired, you have the brightest and most natural smile possible. We use natural-colored bonding and composite filling material matched to the color of your teeth. Rather than a dark, silver amalgam, we use a bright composite with aesthetics in mind. No one knows but your dentist!
Preventive and Simple Restorative
Preventative sealants can help children maintain healthy teeth by closing grooves in molars and premolars. The process is quite simple, and no anesthetic is required. The procedure helps to delay cavities or even prevent them entirely.
We also treat cavities with composite fillings that match the color of your children’s teeth. No silver amalgam is used.
Dr. Anderson can repair damaged and broken teeth that can occur from playground accidents and other childhood misfortunes.
We employ several techniques for correcting irregularities, discoloration and chips to your teeth. Teeth bleaching or whitening can brighten your teeth to a lighter color. Ceramic veneers are strong and secure and can help restore a pearly smile. We even use metal-free crowns to make your teeth as natural looking as possible.
We can use digital imaging to show you how your teeth can be enhanced before the procedure begins.
Implant-Supported Crowns, Bridges and Dentures
These are permanent fixtures — To finish restoring your smile after implant placement, we can create a crown or bridge to give you your smile back! you can brush and floss normally. The implant functions like a real tooth.
We also offer implant retained full arch & partial dentures, The implants add stability to the denture making it more comfortable to wear. ( # of implants varies case by case)
Cemented Crowns and Bridges on Natural Teeth
A bridge is a permanent solution to fill a gap between two teeth which allows you to regain chewing function at the site of the gap.
Removable Partial and Full Dentures
A partial is a removable prosthetic that snaps into place among your teeth to fill a gap. It acts similarly to a bridge but is temporary and is removed at night for cleaning. A partial will help restore normal chewing function and is visibly undetectable.
Tooth Extractions and Minor Periodontal Procedures
Dr. Anderson performs all types of extractions, including wisdom teeth (or third molar) extractions. For patients that may be apprehensive about this type of procedure, oral sedation or Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas) will help keep them comfortable and relaxed.
Scaling and Root Planning is a procedure to treat advanced periodontal disease.
Simple Root Canal Therapies
Dr. Anderson performs simple root canals on anterior teeth. For premolars and molars, which have more complicated canals, we refer our patients to several reputable Endodontists in the area.
Dr. Anderson diagnoses and treats bite problems and related temporomandibular joint (TMJ) issues and facial pain. An occlusal guard can be fabricated to prevent clenching and grinding during sleep and eliminate muscle pain and wear on teeth.
